Know Thrombosis - World Thrombosis Day (2016-2017)
Client: International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH)
Know Thrombosis is an ongoing campaign to promote World Thrombosis Day and raise awareness about the dangers of deep vein thrombosis. I illustrated the concept through the analogy of traffic jams on tangled roadways, and used this theme throughout most of the campaign.
The campaign won two 2017 PRSA Thoth Awards and was nominated twice for the 2017 Sabre Awards.
Wall Mural
Designed for a large World Thrombosis Day booth at a health care conference. The design also served as a photo booth backdrop.
Infographics
I designed and illustrated a series of infographics to help explain the dangers of thrombosis. I also continued to feature the traffic-jam analogy as a visual theme that always ties back to the overall campaign.
Social Media Content
Highly visual social cards were a major component of the Know Thrombosis campaign. I developed and illustrated both static and animated graphics and worked closely with an animator to bring these pieces to life and stand out on social media.
Annual Report Infographic
ISTH produces an annual impact report that summarizes the success and reach of that year's World Thrombosis Day campaign. I designed and illustrated this infographic for their 2017 report.
